Tom Egan, CR, CIE is the Principal for National Property Damage Experts, LLC
Estimator/Operations Florida Office

Tom received his certification as a Certified Restorer (CR) in 1995, the highest designation in the restoration and reconstruction industry.  Tom is a nationally recognized Remediation Instructor and has taught at Temple University. He has also been designated in several states as an expert in court. He has been involved in numerous humidity control and catastrophic moisture control projects since 1988. His resume’ is too long to print here, but is available upon request. 

Tom has worked closely with Industrial Hygienists and Microbiologists since 1988 on numerous mold remediation projects as well as having additional experience with duct cleaning and odor control in facilities ranging from hospitals to high-rise offices, to government facilities. He has traveled the country on many large losses resulting from hurricanes such as Katrina, Rita and Ike to name a few. Tom remains an active owner of NPDE and enjoys working on day to day projects. He can sometimes be seen working in the field with the crews when the opportunity presents itself.


Paul Anderson, ASCS, AFS
Senior Estimator



Paul Anderson attended Valley Forge Military Academy from 1962 through 1965. He attended York College of Pennsylvania, Elizabethtown College and Lebanon Valley College majoring in Biology /Pre-Med.  Paul’s qualifications include: Charter Member of NADCA, having passed the first certification exam in December of 1997; Air Filtration Specialist and Certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist with over fifteen years experience in the IAQ industry performing duties as a Project Manager, Estimator, and Director of Operations; Charter member of American Society of Professional Estimators-June1, 1989;OSHA Certified Trainer for OSHA10 & 30 hour Safety Training; PINS/OSHA training at Delaware Technical Institute; Attended North Train the Trainer for Respirator Training; instrumental in writing of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program at area Pharmaceutical company to be implemented at all corporate sites.  Paul‘s present duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Estimating all types of projects including, Mold, Flood and Air Duct Cleaning, as well as Waterproofing
  • Securing bidding opportunities and attending pre-bid meetings
  • Signing and submitting bids, and preparing contracts
  • Project Management
  • Performing IAQ Assessments

Rick Wallace, CR
Director of Operations for the Southern Region (Nashville, TN. Office)


Rick came aboard with National Property Damage to head up our disaster division for our Southern Regional office.  Due to the demand for disaster clean up in those areas hit by the hurricanes we needed someone with experience in this type of clean up.  During the hurricane season of 2005 Rick completed over 3 million dollars of drying and remediation in LA and MS.  With Rick’s prior experience with these types of large losses he is a great asset to that region and to our team.  
 
Rick has 16+ years working and supervisor experience in emergency response as it is related to fire, flood, and smoke damage.  He is also well versed in mold remediation. 

Certifications: First Aid and CPR, Attains Annual Confined Space, Blood Borne Pathogen, Trauma Scene Clean-Up, Sewage Remediation, Structure Dry Down of all types, Munters Certification in Desiccant Dehumidification, and Xactimate Certified.

Certified by IICRC in the following:
Carpet Cleaning Technician, Journeyman Cleaning Technician, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning Technician, and Journeymen Restoration in Water and Fire Damage. Water Damage Technician, Odor Control Technician, Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician, Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration Technician and Master Cleaning & Restoration Technician.
 
He has also attended numerous courses and conventions regarding insurance repair, restoration, remediation and restoration of buildings from residential to commercial facilities of a variety of sizes, types and styles.   
Rick is also a certified restorer, the highest designation in the restoration and reconstruction industry.


Pat Torre
Operations Manager (North-East Operations, New Jersey Office)


Pat has lived in Southern New Jersey all of his life. After graduating from Paul VI Catholic High School, he worked for a custom home builder for nine years. There Pat familiarized himself with all facets of the building industry including excavating and site work. For the last 17 years, Pat is well known for running a local Waterproofing company. He worked his way up in the company that was sold to a large conglomerate. His duties included estimating of all waterproofing of existing homes to completion of all projects. In the last 17 years he has successfully completed over 5,000 waterproofing projects. Pat has brought his no nonsense approach to NPDE with great fanfare. He is responsible for Estimating of both Mold and Waterproofing projects as well as handling all operations for the New Jersey office. Below are some more of his duties:

  • Reviewing supply inventory and authorizing purchases
  • Maintaining bid list and project list
  • Scheduling projects
  • Preparing and reviewing budgets for operations
  • Reviewing production to evaluate efficiency
  • Interfacing with all clients to ensure satisfaction


Doug DiTondo
General Manager

Doug unites our team with his over fifteen years management experience within the restoration industry. He began his career as an Owner/Manager Franchisee with multiple office locations, (competing brand) and received extensive franchise training. Doug has received numerous professional certifications.
He was a student in one of the first mold certification courses ever held in the country. He has worked throughout the U.S. in the aftermath of storms such as Hurricane(s) Andrew and Floyd. He has extensive experience in large scale, fast tracked fire and flood restorations, and is a hands-on manager with the ability to effectively work as a liaison between all parties in a project when necessary. He holds an Associates degree in Business Management and Administration from Montgomery County Community College, as well as a Certificate in Construction Technology from Penn State University.


Donna Fish
Marketing Director/ Real Estate Services

Donna brings to the table 20 years of Residential Experience as a Realtor out in the field. As such, she is well versed in the need of both Buyers and Sellers to be able to feel secure with the company on which they are relying when it comes to Mold Remediation. It is becoming an increasingly complicated process to buy or sell a home.   Donna is reaching out to Real Estate Professionals in an effort to educate them so that they are confident in referring their valuable clients to National Property Damage Experts, LLC.  Donna has had a NJ Real Estate Broker’s License since 1987 and a Title Producer’s License as well. As a Real Estate Professional she has always stayed current with issues concerning contracts and compliance and of course subscribes to the “Code of Ethics”. She was PR Director for one of her previous Real Estate Offices. 


Melanie Kenney
Office Manager
 

Melanie’s wealth of previous experience in office management and dealing with people make her a great asset to our team.  She is great at handling the back office operations of the departments and insuring that our existing customers, as well as our new customers, are helped quickly and efficiently.  Her organization and attention to detail is outstanding.  We can’t say enough about how her glowing personality and professionalism impacts our staff and our customers


Gina Egan
Marketing assistant


Gina has worked for NPDE for several years and is responsible for the production of all  marketing materials for the company. This includes preparing documents for our mailing campaigns as well as all materials for hand outs for our estimators, tradeshows and client folders. She is always willing to work long hours to complete projects that are time sensitive. Her attention to detail has truly been an asset to the company.
